When Grocery Shopping: 

D don’t shop while hungry

investigate food labels for calories and fat content

A avoid high-calorie, high salt snacks; don’t have them around

B buy foods from fruit/veggie, milk/meat and grain/beans food groups

E enjoy reduced-calorie mayonnaise, cheese, dressings

T try new varieties of whole grains and whole grain foods, also fruits and vegetables

E eat lunches and snacks that you bring with you from home

S smile as you lose weight, feel better, and maybe decrease the amount of       medication needed
